So the Oscars were Sunday. Who cares! The real awards were handed out Saturday night: The Razzies! Adam Sandler is a very popular target of the Razzie Awards, but for the second year in a row, he went home empty-handed. This year, Adam received his 20th Razzie nomination for "Blended" . . . but when the awards were handed out on Saturday, he lost Worst Actor to KIRK CAMERON, whose movie, "Saving Christmas" cleaned house.
"Saving Christmas" also won Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay, and Worst Screen Combo, which was credited to, quote, "Kirk Cameron and His Ego." Other "dis-honorees" include: Kelsey Grammer as Worst Supporting Actor, Cameron Diaz as Worst Actress, and Megan Fox as Worst Supporting Actress. This year, the Razzies started a POSITIVE category called the "Redeemer Award," where they celebrate actors who've gone from SUCKAGE to SUCCESS. This year, BEN AFFLECK won, for going from "Gigli" to "Argo" and "Gone Girl".
